Scope and span
The scope of electives depends on your programme. In some programmes the electives consist of different ECTS credits, and therefore you have to choose a specific number of courses to gain the obligatory ECTS credits at your programme.

Electives you can choose
- Electives offered by the programmes at VIA
- Electives offered by an external educational institution other than VIA
- Specifically organised individual courses in agreement with your programme
Note that it is not all programes that offer the oppertunity to organise an individual course, or take an elective outside of VIA. If you have any questions or concerns, ask your programme.
